PRP

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is used to rejuvenate the skin and improve its overall appearance. The process involves drawing blood, which is then spun to concentrate the platelets and injected back into the skin/tissue to attract all growth factors and nutrients that stimulate collagen production and enhance tissue regeneration.

PRP is used on its own or in combination with other procedures to maximize the benefits. PRP can be used for hair restoration, skin rejuvenation, decrease wrinkles & P-shots (men) in order to enhance performance.

Benefits of PRP

The process begins with a simple blood draw. Your blood is then processed to isolate the platelet-rich plasma, which is packed with growth factors. Once prepared, this nutrient-rich plasma is strategically injected into target areas or applied during treatments like microneedling to amplify skin rejuvenation. PRP boosts collagen production, enhances skin elasticity, and promotes cell renewal, delivering visible and long-lasting results.

What to Expect

At Radiant Aesthetics we provide a client friendly environment to make them feel comfortable so they can trust the process. The procedure starts with taking a sample of the blood. Once the PRP solution is ready, it will be applied to the area using a microneedling device. This procedure is well-tolerated and to minimize the pain anesthesia may be applied to that area. Our expert clinicians will ensure your comfort throughout the process. A topical numbing cream is applied to minimize discomfort during injections or microneedling. Sessions typically last 30–60 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

Post treatment

At Radiant Aesthetics we take care of our client’s recovery and it is as serious for us as procedure. Patients can expect to see micro lesions on the skin for a few days after treatment so here is the aftercare guide to follow:

  • Avoid Touching the Treated Area: Try not to touch or rub the treated areas for the first 24 hours to avoid irritation and infection.
  • Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks following treatment. Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher to avoid hyperpigmentation.
  • No Makeup for 24-48 Hours: Avoid applying makeup immediately after the procedure to allow the skin to heal. After 48 hours, you can apply makeup if your skin feels comfortable.
  • Cool Compress: If you experience redness or swelling, apply a cool compress to soothe the skin.
